I just get the lace wet so that it is damp and then take a paint brush and dab/sweep the dye to the spots I want and just keep at it until it's what I want and then let it dry. After it is dry I then can add more dye over the top if I need to and let that dry. When it's exactly how I want and all dry then I just hit it with an iron and finished!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03924555921398610822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33190365.post-82397352403268873062008-07-03T08:27:00.000-07:002008-07-03T08:27:00.000-07:00That dyed lace looks awesome! Of coarse these are not the washable kind of dying but it's perfect for my work that does not get washed.

Jackie,
I also love the large appliques! I'm still thinking of ideas to embellish them further, I know for sure beading will be a part of it!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03924555921398610822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33190365.post-56526236421397638812008-07-01T22:33:00.000-07:002008-07-01T22:33:00.000-07:00That large rose applique is absolutely gorgeous! ...That large rose applique is absolutely gorgeous!
