Purple Heart Necklace
Here is another Peacock Heart by Birgit Phelps for another birthday girl in our small group! I used a variegated purple DMC tatting thread, stiffened with white glue and a bail and chain attached!
I love your tatting. You have renewed my interest. My grandmother used to do tatting and I have her old shuttle. I never knew what to do with it. I hope I can find a good book to teach me. Your work is lovely.
I love your blog. I sure wish I was computer savvy to know how to do that wallpaper and everything you have that makes your blog so sweet and special. But, alas, I was born long before computers were introduced at school and I haven't had the opportunity to learn a whole lot. I do keep plugging along though.
Thanks for sharing your photos. I went to the site with the Peacock Heart and tatted up one in pink. Sure was fast and easy. I think I'll make more to share as gifts for those who do special little favors for me.

I love the way your heart necklaces turn out! This one's especially pretty!
Your heart necklace is so pretty, so delicate looking against the flower.
Very pretty, Melissa, as always! :)
