It looks stunning, so luxurious
Hi Melissa! I do Silk Ribbon Embroidery too but haven't in a while. Your tutorial is really pushing me to polish my skills. As it is, I don't know why my SRE never comes outr so neat and pretty like yours.
I tried making a crazy quilt with your tutorials... I am a disaster! I am going to try again. :) Thanks for the tutorials. :)
I too think I live on the wrong side of the country. LOL Love your tutorials.
Thank you everyone! I always love reading your comments, makes my day!
Ais,
Oh that is neat that you also do SRE, I've found that with practice my stitches get better with time the same as in tatting. Also I mention in the videos how to pull the ribbon as you make a stitch that really really helps with ease of making a nice looking stitch, I hope you will try it?
WOW you did a CQ from my tutorials? That is great! Did you take a photo of it? In CQ mistakes can be covered with embellishment so maybe your block is not so bad? In any case I do hope you make another. I've learned that mistakes are learning opportunities! We can learn so much more from mistakes than if we did it perfect right away!
I have awarded you the I Love Your Blog Award, because I really think your blog is terrific. Thank you are all your instructions. Your work is lovely.
