Oh, my! That is the fanciest shmanciest tea cozy EVER! ...and that is GOOD! WOW! You make GOOD tea cozies, Melissa! Can I have one like that???? JUst kidding! Okay, Actually, I'm not but a girl can dream can't she? I know that I have a really pretty square that matches it...hee heee hee! You are so talented! I ♥ your talent! Your amazing with a needle and thread! Did you tat that edging I see going through there? That's pretty! Wow...did I say wow, already? I think I did, huh?~TattingChic ♥
LOLLLLLL IT was a ton of work and I think it might need to be resewn at the bottom, I think it might be a smidge too long! The tatting was done by Marie, a palmetto tatter friend who sent me some tatting but I have done the pattern before since she sent the pattern along with it!
Beautiful job! This is gorgeous!
Thank you Mary!
Beautiful! I put my CQ basket some place really safe for the Christmas holidays. Maybe I'll find it over this Easter holiday! ; )

Thank you Ann and Diane! LOL Diane I hate when that happens! I have so many projects in waiting that I need to get back to at least this one is finally done!
That is lovely but now I am going to have to try and make something using that technique myself ... I have all the components: beads, lace, trims, fabric, batting. I doubt I can equal yours but wouldn't it be fun to try?
Melissa- Love it!!! Especially the off white on off white makes it look more elegante! - GREAT JOB!!
Riona, Crazy Quilting is super fun and it's pretty much a collage of fabric, lace, embroidery, buttons, beads, and appliques! And it's done in layers first to piece the fabrics together and then you add lace and all your embellishments as your heart desires! When you feel that it's what you want then it's finished and ready for you to turn it into whatever you want!
Melissa your tea cozy is so very pretty!...Did you also embellish the other side?....Happy Easter Blessings to you and yours!...Annie
Thank you Annie, no I didn't embellish the other side I just used a damask fabric for the back.
That is a stunning teacosy the cream is just lovely and very feminine. Just beautiful!!!
Thank you TypsTattng!
