I wanted to make a little token of love for my sister and I had the idea to make a little lace cuff!
I folded down the raw edges of the vintage lace and hand stitched it then I stitched on a vintage Mother of Pearl button, cut a buttonhole to size and whip stitched around the raw edges.
Then I added some of my tatting to the top with a pearl bead. Wah-La a cute cuff! Now I want one!

At your suggestion I got in touch with Ruth /Tatting Calendar project with a link to my tatted basket postcard. It may be tomorrow's pattern... I'll be a Calendar Girl!
(Hopefully the pattern as I wrote it will be understandable. Or it'll need your pattern-revision talents... which is how I found your blog in the first place!)
And it IS a cute cuff!
