Today I messed around with another stitch. This time the chevron stitch. It's really difficult to keep the stitches even! I marked dots and I still couldn't get it even!Come Jan. I'm going to start doing the "Take a stitch Tuesdays" with Sharon B. I think it will help me to improve if I take weekly time to work on stitches and make a sampler of all the things I can think to do with a stitch. It should be fun too.

Carole Samples' template is what helped me get it even. If you can find something with the "mountain" pattern to it, it would work the same way. I like the design where you did the chain stitch up and down through it.
